So, Internet Speed Meter Lite is a special software tool developed for monitoring of the Internet connection speed and reflection of the result on a Status bar.
Also, there is a possibility to reflect on the Lock screen the following data:
- download speed
- transmission speed
- active connection name
- estimation of mobile traffic
- estimation of traffic of WiFi network
Lite-version of the program “Internet Speed Meter” is able to keep statistics of daily traffic in the table form. It takes into account both mobile traffic and Wi-Fi network traffic. According to the official statement of developer, the power consumption of this application is absolutely negligible.
The first screenshot shows the speed of data downloading on the lock screen of the Android-smartphone. The second summarizes traffic, sorted by type of connection for the previous period of time (for example 30 days).
